The first weekend earning of Dangal crossed 100 Cr mark. And yes, Aamir with this film Dangal also enters the club of film that earned Rs 100 Cr in 3 days. Dangal fifth day earning is however decreased than its previous one because of its working day today. But fans don’t want to miss their favorite shows and are reaching to the Silver screens to make Dangal 5th day collection to rise.

Dangal Fifth Day Total Box Office Income
Dangal has collected Rs 132.43 crores so far in four days since it’s release on December 23. The film collected a robust Rs 25.48 crores on Monday. The collections weren’t affected as it happens in most cases despite Monday, December 26 being a working day. That shows Dangal’s promising start at box office. The film also has the fifth highest opening weekend collection in Bollywood after Sultan, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Happy New Year and Dhoom 3.

Dangal also became the first Hindi film ever to have got the highest opening in Australia. Trade Analyst Komal Nahata shared, “Dangal opened to packed houses in Australia (USD 181K), making it the highest opening for any Hindi film ever in Australia.”
The film is co-written by Nitesh Tiwari, Piyush Gupta, Shreyas Jain and Nikhil Meharotra. Nitesh Tiwari has earlier directed small films including Chillar Party and Bhoothnath Returns. Dangal is mostly shot in Ludhiana, Delhi and Pune.
